Personal tax installments
If you are self-employed, you need to make quarterly installment payments of tax and CPP contributions on March 15, June 15, September 15 and December 15. Note: - When a due date falls on a Saturday, a Sunday, or a public holiday, your payment will be considered to be paid on time if it is received or postmarked on the next business day.
- Even if you receive an instalment reminder from CRA, you do not have to make instalment payments if your net tax owing will be $2,000 or less ($1,200 or less for residents of Quebec).
